First Image UK based in East Sussex has joined forces with Midlands based Albion Oak to create a partnership in the creation of Oak framed buildings.
Martin Sealey the director of First Image UK based in East Sussex and Andy Keeling director of Albion Oak from Gloucestershire have known each other for many years. Both have an impressive portfolio of work and both share a passion for Oak design and high-quality workmanship.
We specialise with working closely with the client to understand their requirements and quite often find that what we can design and build often exceeds their expectations. The satisfaction we get from not only the finished results but also the amount of joy it gives our clients is immeasurable. We literally transform how people live and use their homes and outside space.
We have just completed work on a very exciting project. Our client had an existing summer house that was really dilapidated with an unusable shower and a tired sauna.
We have designed a stunning summer house with a very pretty balustrade veranda over- looking the spectacular gardens. From the veranda it leads through bi-folding doors into an open plan kitchen/living area, off from the modern fully fitted kitchen is a shower room that in turn leads to the custom built sauna complete with additional sitting benches and low- level lighting. In the main room is a kitchen running along one wall with shelves above for open plan storage which shows off the beautiful Oak braces and takes the eye up to the stunning Oak vaulted ceiling which then highlights the structural Oak beams internally.
At the other end is a with a car port at the rear and storage above in the vaulted roof space.
This is the luxury of a Spa at home that now feels like you could be in an exclusive hotel. As there was an existing building there was no problem in getting planning permission, but the finished outcome is so much more impressive than the tired old summer house that had seen better days. Our clients are super happy and can’t wait to start having their own exclusive Spa days – we only hope we get to sample it too!
