Jentree is a family run business which was established in East Sussex in 1981. Today they continue to provide a high end, quality service to clients, but with a personal touch.
The business specialises in the restoration, repair and servicing of classic cars such as MG, Triumph, Jaguar, Austin Healey, Bentley and Rolls Royce as well as many more classic marques. They employ a highly skilled team with over 200 years of combined experience!
Jentree have recently completed a full restoration of a 1969 Series 1.5 Jaguar E‑Type. The car was imported from the US and Jentree were entrusted with restoring the car to its former glory.First the car was fully disassembled. The body shell was stripped back to bare metal, any corroded panels cut out and replaced. Dented and damaged panels were metal worked back to shape using techniques such as wheeling.
The car worked its way through the body shop for a full re-spray in its original colour of opalescent silver blue. The mechanicals were all stripped, powder coated and rebuilt along with the engine and gearbox. A new wiring loom was installed along with all new ancillary parts. All chrome and bright work was restored and refitted. Finally the car interior was fully re-trimmed in original dark blue leather.
Many months of work go into a restoration of this calibre and Jentree pride themselves on delivering back a vehicle to a customer that they can be very proud of.
Jentree have a selection of classic car projects available for commissioned rebuild.
The team start with a bare shell and rebuild the car to your own personal specification. You choose the cars colour, interior, engine, gearbox, wheels, suspension set up, and the list goes on! Experts on site are always available to advise and guide clients on all of the options available.
The cars will be built to exacting standards and will leave as a brand new car in better than factory condition. A full photographic record of the build is provided once the car is complete.
