H Engineering

H Engineering is a Classic Car Restoration company based in Horsmonden, Kent. We have an experienced team with the workshop facilities to work on all classic, vintage and collectible vehicles. We share the same passion for classic cars as our customers, a quality that allows us to connect and empathise with our clients on a highly personal level.

As well as restoring classics, H Engineering’s owner, Anthony Hansford, has had the privilege to race this iconic vehicle. The Arrows A21 was originally the car with which the Arrows Formula One team competed in the 2000 Formula One season. It was driven by Pedro de la Rosa, in his second year with the team, and experienced driver, Jos Verstappen.

For Anthony, and many others, it was a dream to be able to get to drive such an iconic, wonderful, and exhilarating race car. It was a dream that he was so pleased to have made come true. With a passion at such a young age for motorbikes and cars, to experience and to sit behind this amazing F1 car was such a privilege. He raced this car in 2009 and 2010 in the BOSS GP series which was a European Championship for Formula One. Where he managed to place 3^rd at Brands Hatch.

Since its racing days the car now has a new owner. However, Anthony was very lucky to be given the opportunity to update the car and get it running once again. It was a very technically advanced car and H Engineering were one of the first companies to competitively race, a current generation F1 car anywhere! They plan to test and get the car ready to run on Modern F1 Pirelli tyres with its first outing at Goodwood Festival of Speed in 2021.

Our company invites customers to visit our premise in Horsmonden, where restoration projects are continually in progress. We believe that the best way to build an understanding of the work that we do, is to see it for yourself. We always make time available to show our customers how we will eventually perform work on their own vehicles.
