Regal drinks in the drawing room. Then take a royal slumber in this sumptuous four poster bed
Combining exceptional design with exquisite craftsmanship, Stuart Interiors are celebrating over 40 years as specialists in the creation of bespoke oak joinery. From simple planked oak doors, to complex interior joinery schemes, the team excel at meeting the exact requirements of their clients.
Working directly with private individuals, or alongside architects, main contractors and interior designers, their expertise lies in developing initial concepts into an impressive reality, across the UK and internationally.
2017 saw Stuart Interiors return to Decorex for the first time since 2004. Rebecca Fisher, Partner at Stuart Interiors, recalls the items that were on display during the show:
“We showcased several pieces – the jewel in the crown was our Corbet Tester Bed, a magnificent design carved in solid oak, that was originally created in the late C16th for Moreton Corbet Castle in Shropshire and is now part of the V&A Collection.
Alongside this bed, there were also examples of solid oak joinery featuring arcades and balusters in the C17th style and demonstrating the vast array of finishes that can be achieved with this beautiful natural material.”
The partnership of four is made up of Jerry Fisher and his daughter Rebecca and Peter Russell and his son Jake. Their client base includes discerning private individuals, high-end architects and specifiers such as Forcia and Fletcher Priest Architects and important national buildings such as Hampton Court Palace and the Tower of London.
