The countdown to Christmas is certainly in full swing, with the promise of merriment, fine English wines and a variety of entertainment to get you in the festive mood, Balfour Winery is throwing open its doors and offering a warm welcome to all its guests in the lead up to Christmas.
The winery’s co-founders Richard and Leslie Balfour-Lynn, along with the winemaking experts and the rest of the team have been celebrating its 20th anniversary this year and are continuing the celebrations with a host of events, leading up to the end of the year. The events will take place within the stylish and contemporary building and home to the tasting room, The View, which opened in 2018 and offers spectacular facilities with sweeping views across Hush Heath Estate.
The Dining Club Music Sessions
Set in the beautiful tasting room, the Dining Club Music Sessions take place on selected Saturdays, throughout the months of November and December, in the lead up to Christmas. The intimate four-course meal is a wonderful way to spend an evening amongst friends or family whilst enjoying live music performed by fine musicians, chosen to complement the evening of great food and delicious wine. The evening starts at 7:30pm with a welcome drink, before being seated for a four-course meal at 8:00pm.
Christmas Shopping Evening
The launch of the Christmas shop at the winery takes place on the 24th November at 7:00pm. An event guaranteed to get you feeling Christmassy, with Christmas carols, complimentary mince pies, and a glass of Balfour Wine. This will be a relaxed and festive evening in the run-up to Christmas where you can browse their Cellar Door shop offers including:
