Quality service on your doorstep
Set in the heart of East Grinstead, David Carpenter Independent Watch Servicing is an independent, luxury watch specialist, servicing luxury brands including Omega, Rolex, Tag Heuer, Longines, Cartier and Breitling.
The business has grown ever since it first launched in 2015 and now boasts an attractive shop front in the historical high street of East Grinstead, along with a state of the art, modern workshop that has so far received professional certification from several luxury brands.
Priding themselves on their professionalism and high standards of work, all watchmakers on site have completed the WOSTEP diploma (www.wostep.ch/en) and ensure that all watches are thoroughly tested and undergo a strict, quality control process with the standards, care and professionalism that you would expect from a specialist watchmaker.
Owner & Watchmaker David Carpenter says: “One of the main purposes at David Carpenter Independent Watch Servicing is to give customers the same level of care and attention as if the service was undertaken by a major watch brand using their own in-house service centre, but with a more cost effective and quicker turnaround time”.
Offering a wealth of experience and knowledge, the level of service at the level 3 certified Omega Service centre is second to none, “we offer a two-year warranty on all work undertaken and will consider all watch brands, no matter the age or condition. The watchmakers at David Carpenter Independent Watch Servicing have an abundance of experience across all luxury brands including Rolex, Cartier and AudemarsPiget, meaning we can deliver the best possible quality and efficient service for your timepiece.” Says David.
On arrival, your watch will go through a diagnostic process to ascertain condition and water resistance, so an accurate estimate can be provided to the customer. Once proceeded, the case will be completely stripped and polished and all necessary case parts exchanged. The movement will be disassembled carefully, ensuring that each part is closely examined for damage or wear. Once ultrasonically cleaned, the movement is reassembled, lubricated and regulated, “If we are unable to carry out the repair here due to the lack of availability of specific parts required, we would recommend the best company for you to contact.” Says David.
An antique clock repair and restoration service is also available.
