Hand made Seasonal surprises and more at Artspring this Christmas.
If you are looking for a fascinating venue to visit this season that displays an eclectic range of hand-made work by professional artists including painters, ceramicists, jewellers, printmakers and glass specialists, then look no further.
This festive season Artspring Gallery are serving up a most impressive range of affordable and original art for that really special present for a loved one or a gift for the home. At Artspring Gallery displays are changed frequently and at least one guest artist will be showing their work to help ring the changes and keep things fresh!
The Artspring wall art is uplifting and well worth a visit to view. These have proved popular with locals when they have moved house, or decorated a room, to add something unique and special to an interior space.
There is also the popular “Meet the Artists” event every first Saturday in the month from 2 – 4 pm, allowing the opportunity for visitors to talk to both guests and gallery artists over a glass of fizz. The artists are able to give insight into the work on show and offer help and encouragement to aspiring artists.

This year ArtSpring went further afield to Whitstable on the North Kent Coast to showcase their work in a highly successful two week show at The Horsebridge Gallery. Everyone enjoyed showing off their skills in a coast themed show. It also featured work by past, now much valued associate members who served the Artspring collective for a minimum of two years and who continue to support the Gallery by creating networking, exhibition and promotional opportunities.
They act as ambassadors for ArtSpring via social media and publicity at exhibitions where Associate Members maintain a presence.
Local Kent based artists should look out for the ArtSpring Open Call exhibition on a themed topic which will be repeated later in the New Year. This has been most successful in the past and has introduced new artists to the area and offered the opportunity for young artists to experience what is required to exhibit in a gallery. Interviews are regularly held for two-month guest artist slots and for prospective members. Helpful advice and encouragement is given in a friendly and supportive manner and one of their members is always stewarding the gallery.
With so much to enjoy why not drop into the gallery soon!
