Nestling in 100 acres of stunning East Sussex countryside, Claremont Nursery and Preparatory School offers a warm and nurturing environment for children aged 12 months to 13 years.

In reception, the children feel valued and encouraged to reach their full potential. Claremont School has a friendly, stimulating and secure environment where pupils lay down foundations in all areas of the curriculum. There is a strong emphasis on outdoor learning and our children enjoy weekly Forest School sessions, as seen on this months’ Aspect County front cover.

Expansive woodland

Situated in surroundings of glorious and expansive woodland, Claremont Forest School offers children opportunities to develop independence and self-esteem through hands-on learning and play. Under the guidance of their trained Forest School staff, the children are given the freedom to explore and experience the natural world at their own pace.

Parents may drop off their child as early as 8am and collect them at any time between 3.30 – 6pm, at no additional charge. A wide range of after school clubs are available, so working parents can be assured that their children are experiencing and enjoying various activities; from gymnastics, kickboxing and swimming to Latin and zoology!
