With so many options to choose, which is the right fibre
or you and where do they originate?

Whether a contemporary or traditional interior, Sisal & Seagrass boast numerous flooring options ideal for any room.  From the chunky loop of Sisal Colossus to the textured flatweave Coir Boucle, a statement floor is within reach of all thanks to a portfolio that is as diverse as it is versatile

THE LOOK
Natural fibre products whether they are plant fibres or wool, often have slight, natural variations in the thickness of the fibre or the tone of colour. There could also be knots visible in some products where the fibres are joined together to be woven and some stray fibres. These inherent characteristics are part of the charm of natural flooring, adding to its beauty and creating a further dimension to the look of the floor.

SISAL
Sisal is an organic fibre that can transform any interior. Available in a wide range of beautiful designs and colours, sisal is also strong and versatile; essentially, the best of both worlds. It is derived from the leaf fibre of the plant Agave Sisalana, traditionally used for rope manufacture. The leaves are crushed, washed, dried and then the fibres are extracted and spun into a yarn. This yarn is then woven into an array of weave designs.

For use in most locations within the home apart from high moisture areas such as bathrooms and kitchens, sisal can be fully fitted like a carpet or made into a stunning, individual custom-made rug to your own size. Choose your own colour border from our comprehensive range to give your rug that sought after personal touch.

SEAGRASS
Inherently strong and resistant, seagrass is a grass grown in paddy fields and the fields are flooded with sea water during the growing season. After harvesting and drying, the seagrass is spun into a strong yarn suitable for weaving into a huge range of products like bags and baskets, and of course stylish natural woven flooring.
Like sisal, seagrass can be used in most locations within the home apart from high moisture areas such as bathrooms and kitchens, and can be fully fitted wall to wall or made into a superb custom-made rug to your own size.

COIR
Made from the fibre taken from the husk of coconuts and spun by hand, coir is a natural solution for busy spaces. The fibre is strong, highly textured and is able to withstand all the wear and tear of modern life. Coming in a number of distinctive rustic designs, coir flooring looks fantastic in minimalistic and more traditional room settings alike.
For use in most locations within the home apart from high moisture areas such as bathrooms and kitchens, coir can be fitted wall to wall or crafted into a stunning bespoke rug to your own size.

JUTE
Jute is a long, soft, shiny vegetable fibre that can be spun into coarse, strong threads. It is produced from plants in the genus Corchorus, which was once classified with the family Tiliaceae, more recently with Malvaceae, and has now been reclassified as belonging to the family Sparrmanniaceae. The primary source of the fibre is Corchorus Olitorius. Jute is the name of the plant or fibre that is used to make burlap, Hessian, gunny cloth and beautiful floor coverings. For use in most locations within the home apart from high moisture areas such as bathrooms and kitchens, Jute can be fitted wall to wall and will add style, texture and a unique look to any interior.
